all mean?

No. There are a lot of highly skilled and developed mediums and psychics out there who want to use their abilities for the greater good and to just be in service. Some of us offer our services for free, for a donation, or at an affordable rate so that everyone has an opportunity to receive a reading should they want one. We do live in a society where we must earn a living to pay for our expenses, so I feel it is fair for a medium or psychic to provide their service for a reasonable fee. Many mediums and psychics throughout their lifetime work with various tutors to continue their development which is costly. Reasonable and affordable fees help contribute towards these expenses so they can provide these services to the public and help provide for themselves and their families.

Word of mouth is the best way to find a good medium or psychic, but if you don't have anyone to refer you to, you may want to do some online research. There are a lot of developed mediums and psychics who will do a face-to-face reading with you online. What they say on their website should resonate with you. It should "feel" right, and you will likely feel drawn to the right one. Every medium and psychic has a unique style in how they work. Knowing what kind of reading you are looking for will help you know if it is the right fit for you. Unfortunately, there are a lot of scammers out there (as with any profession) who will take advantage of someone vulnerable or grieving. If it feels wrong, it most likely is. There are several tactics that scammers who claim to be psychics or mediums will use to solicit money. Here are a few of them to watch out for... 1) Someone who guarantees that they can change the outcome of your situation if you pay them to do it. 2) Someone who approaches you and solicits you for a reading and keeps giving you reasons why you should keep coming back to them so they can fix your life problems for a fee. 3) Someone who tells you that your life problems are because someone has cursed you and if you pay them money, they will remove it for you. Some will say they will curse you or your loved ones themself if you don't pay them for the help. 4.) Someone who solicits you for a reading. You should be the one to approach a medium or psychic for a reading, not the other way around. Psychics and mediums have no control over what happens in other people's lives. They cannot change your financials, romantic outcomes, work promotions, change your health status, etc... Our abilities are not powers.

All mediums can work both medium and psychic, but not all psychics are mediums. A psychic is a person with extrasensory perceptions that can connect soul-to-soul with another living person on earth through their auric energy field.* During this soul-to-soul communication, a psychic can receive information about the person they are reading without being given any prior information about them. For example: personality, things happening in their life currently, what has happened to them in the past, and what that person's aspirations or goals may be for themselves in the future. *All matter (both living and non-living) has an electromagnetic luminous energy field that surrounds it called an aura. In humans, our aura contains all the information about the internal states of our body (emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual). ​ A medium is a person with extrasensory perceptions that can connect soul-to-soul, through our auric energy field with the energy of someone no longer in a physical body who has already transitioned to the spirit world. During this soul-to-soul communication, a medium receives information about the person in spirit they are reading without being given any prior information about them.

Our loved ones in spirit bring through deeply emotional and factual evidence. They still have the same personalities, humor, qualities, values, memories, etc... as they did when they were here in this world. An evidential medium focuses on the factual evidence they receive from the loved ones in spirit. This evidence is used to prove beyond doubt that our loved ones who are no longer in the physical world are still very present and alive in our lives. This evidence often touches on aspects of their relationship with the person coming for the reading, memories they shared, their personality, things that were shared between them in conversations, life events, memories, etc... Your loved ones may choose to talk about events occurring currently in your life to let you know they are always aware of what is happening with you and those they love around you. The variety of topics of communication is unlimited and up to spirit. As an evidential medium, my method of working with spirit is just giving them a voice to talk about whatever they want to share. I do not come into the reading with an agenda or with a list of questions or any expectations. For this reason, I will never ask for any information about you or your loved ones in spirit before a reading. It is not necessary or needed and will make the reading more difficult for me, which is why I only ask for a "yes", "no", or "I don't know" response. I work from the soul. All readings are a result of a natural soul-to-soul connection whether medium or psychic. Each reading is completely different from the last and I have no idea what will be discussed or who will be coming through. I prepare 10 minutes before the reading by sitting in silence, raising my energy, and connecting with the spirit world. I come into the reading with no expectations, ready to serve with love in my heart, and with good intention. I look forward to the experience and I am so honored to share this experience with you and your loved ones in spirit. First and foremost, come without expectations. Being receptive to what information is coming in instead of trying to control it will allow communication to flow more smoothly. Communication is not perfect or an exact science. Most evidence is not literal. As an interpreter for spirit, my job is to deliver the information I receive as accurately as possible, which is why I spent years developing my abilities to learn how to do this. Engaging with me with a "yes", "no", or "I don't know" following the statements I give you about what I am receiving, helps keep the energy up and the contact flowing. Giving me evidential information yourself makes the contact more difficult, and it is important that you know the information is coming from your loved ones and not you. If you come in with the mindset of wanting specific pieces of information to prove your loved one is here (like the mention of a tattoo, etc...), you will miss out on the evidence and healing messages that your loved ones in spirit are bringing through for you. The spirit realm knows exactly what you need to hear and will be focused on your needs, not your wants. Trust, surrender, and enjoy the experience while spending time with those you love in spirit! Come with good intentions, even if skeptical. Be relaxed, open, and ready to receive from whoever chooses to come through for you. Please be respectful of those who do come through and know that healing and growth take place in both worlds. The person(s) you may want to hear from may not come in first but know there is always a reason for why the spirit realm chooses the order in which a loved one comes through. It is also important to prepare a private, quiet, and comfortable space for us to work together where I have your full attention. Please put your devices on Do Not Disturb.

It is infrequent, but yes. There are various reasons why a reading may not work. These may include: 1.) Grief can play a huge role in the readiness of an individual who may be looking for a reading. It is good to wait several months before coming for a reading to hear from a loved one who has recently transitioned. Grief can hinder the full experience of the reading and you may need more time to grieve to receive. 2.) Sometimes someone who comes for a medium reading may be in greater need of a psychic reading rather than a medium reading now or vice versa. If this occurs, the spirit world may indicate to the medium to work psychically instead and may or may not choose to come through during the reading. Trust the process and know it is for your benefit. 3.) The person coming for the reading has such specific expectations of what they want their loved ones in spirit to bring through in evidence during the reading that they disregard everything else their loved ones want to talk about with them. If there is one lesson I have learned, it's that spirit has its agenda as to who comes forward and why, and they know what the most important thing is for us to hear at that moment. Trust that! 4.) Readings can also not work because the medium or psychic chosen may not be the right fit for the client or vice versa. 5.) Mediums and psychics are human too and can have off days due to personal or health reasons despite putting their best foot forward in a reading. 6.) Not engaging with the medium during the reading with the "yes", "no", or "I don't know". Resistance can deteriorate your experience quickly. It is okay to have a healthy skepticism, but a deep skeptic who is closed off to the experience makes it very difficult for a medium or psychic to work with them. No one likes to be in awkward situations where there is tension in the air or the person you are engaging with is unresponsive. As human beings, we need positive socialization. That positive rapport raises the energy and creates a safe and comfortable environment to work within for all parties. If for any reason a reading does not go according to plan, the reading can be canceled or rescheduled for a more suitable date for either party.

Imagine if I asked you to recall a favorite memory that you spent with your loved one now in spirit. Your imagination would be bringing that memory to life for you visually in your mind. If you don't see it, maybe you just feel it. All your senses would come to life, and you could see yourself mentally reliving the experience all over again as if it happened yesterday. You may smell, hear, or suddenly taste something that you experienced with them that day that stands out to you. Maybe you can physically feel the remembrance of a warm embrace from them and suddenly miss their touch. ​ When a medium, like myself, blends our soul energy with the soul energy of spirit, the communicator then projects their memories, thoughts, feelings, personality, etc. by the same process, in part, as described for you above. For the medium, it is like mentally taking a peek at someone else's photobook or a movie of someone else's memories that we have never seen or met before. Spirit can use any of the medium's senses (visual, smell, taste, physical sensations, hearing, emotions, knowing, anything available for them to use) to help the medium understand the information they want to talk about. Mediums refer to these extrasensory abilities as "Clair’s." Spirit can also use the medium's memories and life experiences to help them understand the information being received as well. Spirit is the one who guides and directs the communication with where they want it to go and what they want to talk about. Although this soul-to-soul communication happens very naturally between a medium and spirit, it takes years of development and a lifetime of continuous learning to master, as well as tremendous dedication and self-discipline. It is not an exact science and there are a lot of different ways in which information can be interpreted. The medium must learn how to interpret the information being received from spirit correctly. This is why an evidential medium will ask the person they are reading for to respond only with a "yes", "no", or "I don't know" after they give the evidence. For example, if the answer is "no", it lets the medium know they misunderstood and they can go back and re-look at the evidence to understand it correctly. It takes years of development to become proficient in our ability. Engaging with the medium during an evidential reading with these simple responses helps the medium recognize if they are understanding the information from spirit correctly. It also helps keep the energy flowing with everyone involved in the reading and allows the process to flow more smoothly. Coming into a reading comfortable, open, relaxed, and without expectations is a GREAT way to just enjoy the experience and connect with your loved ones!

No. The spirit world always decides who comes through, in which order, and with what they choose to talk about. Spirit always gives the person coming for a reading what they need to hear, not always what they want to hear. Sometimes, who we want to hear from is not the one who comes forward with a message. Trust that the spirit world knows your circumstances and that they will come through to offer their love, healing, and support in the capacity in which you need it. If, at the end of the reading, you have not heard from a loved one you had hoped to connect with, we can certainly ask for them to step forward.

I do not use them because I am comfortable with my own way of working, but I have used some of them in my training just to experience what it is like to work with them. Some mediums and psychics feel more comfortable working with these tools and their use is based on personal preference. I think it is important to note that these tools are not magical, nor do they hold any power. They are simply objects like canvases or paint for an artist. Without the skill of the artist, they would not have any use, meaning, or value.

Absolutely! I have had this happen on several occasions and have included all types of pets and companions. It is not uncommon for our loved ones in spirit to bring through our beloved cats, dogs, birds, horses, etc... to let us know they are in the spirit world too, awaiting our return. As an animal lover who has had a vast variety of pets/companions throughout my lifetime, it brings me great comfort to know that they indeed have souls too, and that we will see them again when we return home to the spirit world. All life is energy and energy can never be destroyed no matter how big or small.

No. When working with the spirit world there is only love and light. When I begin to open the communication, I set my intention to work with those who are in the spirit world, and it is from this place that the communication takes place. Nothing negative can come from a place of pure love and light.

Typically, someone should wait 4-6 months between readings if they choose to seek another reading. I have a six-month waiting period between readings with my clients for their benefit. It is unhealthy to become reliant on a psychic or medium. Truly being in service as a medium or psychic requires professional ethics, morals, and the intention to not harm those we work with.
